These poems were written between March and July 2020, except ‘just not (parasiting)’, which first appeared in February as a broadside for the poetry night JUST NOT, run by Fred Carter and Dom Hale in Edinburgh. The cover image, by Therese Keogh, was made in December 2019 during the UCU strike, and has accompanied the thunderstorms and lockdowns and time-slippages of this year. —K.L.H.
