Riso inks are translucent, making them perfect for colour mixing. The card above is an example of riso ‘cmyk’ printing, where a full colour image is produced by mixing 4 layers of colour (in this case Black, Aqua, Pink, and Yellow inks).

We print from colour-separated greyscale files, where the darkness of the grey in the file translates into density of colour in print.
