Flakes of Fickle Quicklime is an ongoing set of visual poems which stems from the performance piece Fickle Quicklime. The performance was written and devised in response to the Belgian poet Henri Michaux and his aversion to static notions of language. Its writing process involved a combination of layered listening and live translation.
